New Year’s Eve 2023 invites Canberrans to picnic along the shores of Lake Burley Griffin to enjoy a family and community evening, bringing in the new year with spectacular firework displays.

Take a picnic at one of three hub areas along the foreshore from 6pm: Regatta Point, Commonwealth Place and Rond Terrace.

In 2023 the fireworks will be launched from one location in the Central basin.
